You are a Perfectionist!
Looks like you identify with the The Perfectionist type of Imposter Syndrome
The Perfectionist is focused on having a perfect product or service, and if any portion is lower than the expectation, then the entire project is deemed a failure by the entrepreneur because it isn’t “good enough.”
Here are five solutions for breaking free for “The Perfectionist” Imposter Syndrome:
- Ask yourself, “Do you want to be rich or be right?” If rich get it out fast. If right then spend as much time as you want.
- Document and celebrate. Give yourself documented proof that you are progressing and then celebrate each success when finished to solidify in your brain that it was a success. You will thank yourself later if Imposter syndrome creeps back in because you’ll have proof and
- What is your MVP - Minimum Viable Product? Launch that. Not the perfect product or you will be in constant analysis paralysis
- Meditate daily on accepting success in each shade. Realize that everything is not black and white / good or bad / perfect or not. Good Enough is good enough.
Take your mistakes in stride. We all make them. It’s ok.
